		Thanksgiving 2008 Springboard helped make Thanksgiving 2008 special for Inland Empire families in need. Inspired by Springboard CFO Marlisa Hodgin, Springboard commenced its first annual Thanksgiving basket donation. Because of Springboard's commitment to helping others, several families will enjoy a tasty Thanksgiving meal that they otherwise were not able to afford. Springboard distributed the Thanksgiving baskets to the several community organizations and centers.

		June 14, 2008 HOME Clinic San Diego's nonprofit housing Opportunities Collaborative (HOC) came to the aid of several hundred victims of a massive real estate fraud scheme by holding a special HOME Clinic for those victims on June 14, 2008 at the Hall of Justice. The event included local HUD approved housing counseling agencies, including Springboard, and over 80 families having difficulty keeping their homes received counseling.



		2009 "Be Money Wise" Poster Contest Winners Springboard selected the following local entries for 2009's "Be Money Wise" poster contest: 5th grader Christina Parra from Patricial Beatty Elementary School in Riverside, CA, 8th grader Robert Edwards of the Higher Opportunities Program in San Jacinto, CA, and 12th grader Melvin Thomas of House of Praise Academy in San Jacinto, CA. Our Chairman's Award was presented to Ariel Rowan of Green Valley High School in Yucaipa, CA.
