How We Can Help

Our main objective is to assist you in completing your mandatory requirements so you can complete your bankruptcy petition and obtain relief.

We have certified and experienced counselors who can assist you in creating a workable budget and understanding the pros and cons of bankruptcy. We’ll help you understand all of the options available to you so you can make an informed decision about your situation.

All of the educational programs and counseling we offer are available by telephone, internet, or face-to-face from our headquarters in Southern California. Our fees are reasonable, and we can waive fees under special circumstances if you are unable to pay.

Bankruptcy Counseling Certificate of Completion
In order to file your bankruptcy petition you must consult an approved credit counseling agency, like Springboard, for your mandatory counseling session. Once you have completed this session, Springboard will issue you or your attorney a Counseling Completion Certificate so your bankruptcy petition can be filed with the court.

Debtor Education Completion Certificate
Once you have filed your bankruptcy petition with the court, you will have up to 45 days from the date of the § 341(a) Meeting of the Creditors to complete an approved 2-hour debtor education course. If you do not complete this course and obtain a Debtor Education Completion Certificate by the required due date, your case may be dismissed by the court and your bankruptcy will not discharge. In your counseling session with Springboard, your counselor will go over and guide you with your debtor education requirement.
